About the event

We are delighted to welcome *Tomomi Sutter Kimura* to Asia Days, where she will share the art of the Japanese tea ceremony. Born and raised in Osaka, she grew up surrounded by tradition—her mother practiced the tea ceremony, and her grandmother crafted exquisite kimonos by hand. After studying Life Studies in Osaka, Tomomi worked as a model for Japan’s renowned SOS agency before moving to St. Gallen in 2019. Passionate about bringing Japanese culture to Switzerland, she completed a formal tea ceremony training at the Soukituan school in Osaka and is now a certified tea master.
